Judy Newman is a dedicated advocate for students, families, and educators. Judy's focus on academic success, mental health needs, and ensuring access to technology highlights her forward-thinking approach to education. Additionally, Judy is a strong proponent of Career and Technical Education (CTE). She understands the importance of equipping students with practical skills that prepare them for future careers and success. We need her leadership and experience in 4J.

WHY I'M RUNNING
Please help me give Eugene the best schools for all of our children.
I'm running for re-election to the Eugene 4J School Board this May, 2025.
I have a proven track record of putting children first. I am committed to helping all children learn and succeed. I am committed to supporting parents, teachers, and staff to build a thriving educational community.
The future of public education is in some ways uncertain. There are serious federal threats to equity practices. However, these practices are simply to ensure fairness and opportunity for all students. These threats are causing many students and staff to feel unsafe and unwelcome. I am committed to standing up to these attacks and protecting our public schools.
I am running for a third term on the 4J school board because I believe I have the experience, skills, commitment and energy to lead in this challenging time.
